Let’s take an in-depth look at the Chauvet Shocker 2 LED blinder. We’re going to walk you through some of the key features of this light and discuss where you would use it.

Bracket Linking & Clamping
You can quickly link 2 of these lights together using the included expansion bracket to create a 4 unit blinder. The top of the bracket has 3 clamping spots; either one clamp in the center or two off-center camps if you want to ensure everything is perfectly level.
The Strike 4 from Chauvet’s professional line allows you to angle each light individually. We find this causes problems, so we actually prefer the fact that this is not a feature on the Shocker 2. The Shocker 2 hangs better, and there’s less playing around to get it set up.
Chauvet Shocker 2 Connections
The Chauvet Shocker 2 has powerCON in and out ports, allowing you to link up to 6 of these units together. Alongside these ports, you’ll also find 3- and 5-pin DMX in and outs.
The light can be programmed in 1,2,4,7, or 8 channel DMX modes, allowing you to create some cool effects for a variety of event types.
The only complaint we’ve ever heard about the Chauvet Shocker 2 is that it’s too bright. And that was when we were using 8 of them in a room with a capacity of 2000.
Producing 1,080 lux @ 2 m (per pod), we love how flexible the Shocker 2 is for both indoor and outdoor events, despite only being part of Chauvet’s DJ range of lights.
