We use the Amhaze Whisper at every event requiring a haze machine. We’ve never had a problem with it in rooms with up to 2,000 people or smaller outdoor events of up to 500 people.

Amhaze Whisper Haze Machine Fan
We always ship the Amhaze Whisper with an 8”-12” fan as we find the internal fan isn’t enough to disperse and push the haze up into the air.
For that reason, we would always recommend using an additional external fan to help create the look and effect you’re aiming for.
Chauvet Haze Fluid
Venues with HVAC and air conditioning systems can cause water-based haze to dissipate. A range of haze fluids are available, but we’ve had the most success with Chauvet’s Premium Haze Fluid.
We found that the Amhaze Whisper holds up really well against aggressive HVAC and air conditioning in rooms with a capacity of up to 2,000 when using the premium haze fluid.
Chauvet Cleaning Solution
If you let the Amhaze Whisper sit for more than a month at a time, we recommend running half a bottle of Chauvet’s Cleaning Fluid through the unit to clean it out thoroughly.
Haze Machines and Fire Detection Systems
The Chauvet Amhaze Whisper is likely to interfere with the fire detection system at a venue. We recommend that you always get written acknowledgment that you are using a haze machine from the venue manager or shift supervisor as it will set off the fire alarm.
This way, you are covered if the venue forgets to make the necessary adjustments to their fire detection system resulting in the fire department responding to an alarm.
Amhaze Whisper Fan Noise
The internal fan on the Amhaze Whisper is much quieter than the one on the previous Amhaze II model. This is achieved with added soundproofing material inside the unit.

Each venue will have different requirements, but you should aim to throw the haze up into the air and let it fall to get the best haze coverage. Ideally, you would place the haze machine up high in the truss, but this isn’t always possible.
