Dynamic Microphones are durable, rugged, and do a better job of noise rejection when compared to a condenser microphone.

Dynamic microphones generate an audio signal using the motion of a conductor within a magnetic field. In most dynamic mics, a very small diaphragm moves in response to audio input. The diaphragm movement causes a voice coil to move and generate a small electric current when it interacts with the magnet inside the microphone.
